Oceanique — CRM & Booking System for Boat Charter Businesses

Oceanique puts the whole operation in one place:

• Real-time fleet calendar — every vessel, every slot, no double bookings. Availability updates the moment a booking lands.
• Instant online booking with deposits — customers pick a boat, a date and a time slot, pay a deposit, and get a confirmation. No phone tag.
• Customer management (CRM) — every guest, booking history and note in one profile. Repeat customers are the cheapest bookings a charter business will ever get.
• Budgets and revenue tracking — season targets, per-vessel performance and payment status at a glance.
• Admin dashboard — designed so a busy operator can manage the day from a phone at the dock.

How it was built

The frontend is a fast, mobile-first Next.js application — because most rental bookings happen on a phone, often from the beach. The backend is a Django REST API on PostgreSQL, handling availability logic, bookings and payments safely even when several customers want the same Saturday slot.
